If you are looking for just tacos in North Jersey, then you have to check out Just Tacos in Garfield, because this place is great! There is so much variety here, and lots to choose from, even if you do not want tacos.
When I went, I got the 'Al Pastor,' 'Campechanos,' and 'Longaniza' tacos. The 'Al Pastor' was marinated pork with pineapple, onions, and cilantro. This was probably my favorite taco of them all, as I loved the combo of the sweetness from the pineapple and saltiness and savoriness from the pork. The 'Campechanos' taco was a mix of both beef and chorizo with onions and cilantro, and the flavor of both the beef and chorizo was outstanding! The 'Longaniza' taco had Mexican sausage with onions and cilantro, and this one was terrific as well.
In addition, I also tried the 'Birria Empanada,' which is birria with cheese in an empanada with the consommé. I was not crazy about this. It was good, but I was not blown away like I normally am when I eat anything birria. Maybe my expectations are too high at this point, lol. However, I think it is a creative idea for a menu item.
At Just Tacos, you can order anything from tacos, birria, wings, sides, dessert, aguas frescas, and so much more. They have a veggie menu here, so if you do not like or eat meat, this is perfect for you! There is also a secret menu here (that's right), and you can check it out when ordering. Takeout and delivery are both available here. Next time you need takeout for Taco Tuesday, you know where to go now!
