Yard House (Sports Bar - Wayne, New Jersey)

The Yard House is a new restaurant near my house that I tried out recently and it's incredible, to say the least! They are famously known for their draft beer which is great, but the food is amazing too.

I've already been here twice so far, and my review is based on the first time I ordered food from here. I got the 'Taco Combo,' it's a combo of either two or three tacos of your choice from the menu. You get to choose the shell, and it also comes with rice and beans.

I decided to get three tacos and chose their 'Grilled Korean Beef Taco' as my first option. This taco comes with ribeye, sweet gochujang (red chili paste) broccoli slaw, sriracha aioli, green onions, and sesame seeds. This was "Korean Taco" perfection, and all the flavors meshed perfectly together.

The next taco I ate was the 'Carne Asada Taco,' which has ribeye, roasted poblano (pepper), avocado, onions, cilantro, and salsa verde. If you've seen my Surf Taco review, you know I love carne asada and was obsessed with this taco, and everything tasted incredible.

I can't rave enough about all of the food in this picture

The last one was the 'Vampire Taco,' which has carnitas, bacon, roasted garlic, avocado, salsa roja, sour cream, and cilantro in a cheese-crusted tortilla. Yea you heard me, this tortilla has an outer layer of cheese all over! This one was for sure my favorite taco of them all! The entire thing tasted unbelievable for all the flavors inside to the tortilla...just out of this world!

The rice and beans were phenomenal and honestly the best I've ever had as crazy as it sounds, and I'm not joking. I would eat this every day if I could!

Now for my second time, I went in person, and I ordered the 'Golden Victory Monkey' beer, which was fruity and strong. What makes going to the Yard House cool is every table has a kiosk where it shows images of everything on the menu. Plus, there's an option where you can make preferences on your beer, which helps narrow down the suggestions for you. How cool does that sound?!

For food, I got the 'Chicken Nachos' as an appetizer which didn't disappoint, to say the least. For my main meal, I had the 'Korean BBQ Cheesesteak' with chopped ribeye, white cheddar, roasted garlic aioli, and fried onion strings with a house steak sauce and I substituted the regular fries for their 'Parmesan Truffle Fries.' I'm glad I made the switch because they were incredible and were a great addition to my meal. I would post pictures of those too, but the lighting was bad and didn't make the food look presentable.

Now food is not the only amazing thing here as the atmosphere is too as it gives off cool vibes and has kegs all across the restaurant. Yard House also has 'Happy Hour' and 'Gluten Sensitive' menus for those who want to get drinks and a bite to eat after work and for people who have gluten restrictions. You can either eat in-person or order to-go, but this place though is out-of-this-world from the food, ambiance, and everything in-between, you have to go to Yard House if there is one near you!
