Unregular Pizza (Pizza - Manhattan (East Village), New York)

There is nothing regular about the pizza at Unregular Pizza in the East Village...I know that could be a bit of a tongue twister lol. I have heard about this place on Instagram, and when I was in the city a few weeks ago, I happened to walk past the shop and decided to give it a try. Walking into this place, there were many unique pizzas with many extraordinary toppings.

I got the 'Burrapizza Cafonta,' which had tomato sauce, pepperoni, spicy hot honey, a whole burrata, and 'nduja (spicy pork) sauce. It was also a Sicilian slice, and what I liked about this pizza was that there was nothing ordinary about the flavors, toppings, and pizza type. There was a great balance of heat, sweet, savory, tangy, and saucy. This was messy to eat, especially as it was tough to eat the burrata at the center of the slice, as it kept falling off my slice. Nonetheless, it was still delicious.

Besides pizza, customers can also get sandwiches, small bites, vegan and dessert pizza, as well as their sides, and more. Unregular Pizza is also a gluten-friendly place, as they even have a gluten-free menu. Pickup, delivery, and catering are all offered here too. There are a few locations with one in the East Village (or Union Square), one in Midtown, and another on the Lower East Side. Next time you are looking for a unique slice of pizza, you have to go to Unregular Pizza!
