The Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Company has been on my bucket list for at least the past few years, and a few weeks ago, I was in the Somers Point area and decided to give it a try!

A Crab Melt + Onion Rings = Nothing Better

This restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and they are notorious for their 'Crab Melt,' and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It is basically a crab cake grilled cheese with Monterey Jack, and oh my, was this thing amazing!! Super buttery, cheesy, and tons of crab! It was too good, and one of my favorite things I have ever eaten! This was an excellent fusion and something I highly recommend you all try! The sandwich does come with fries; however, I opted to get 'Onion Rings,' and they were so good. Very crunchy and delicious.

The Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Company has a big menu, including sandwiches, grilled cheeses, seafood, mac and cheese, soups, cheesesteaks, burgers, loaded fries, salads, and starters. You can build your own grilled cheese or mac and cheese. If you want suggestions, besides the 'Crab Melt,' Guy Fieri recommends 'The Pork Belly Sandwich' and 'The Triple D Melt.' They also offer gluten-free options, which are prepared with extra care for anyone avoiding gluten. You can order pickup, delivery, or catering.
