Cuban Pete's (Cuban - Montclair, New Jersey)
If you enjoy eating new kinds of food and going to different restaurants then you should visit Cuban Pete's in Montclair since they serve delicious food, have tasty and refreshing drinks and the atmosphere is lively and full of energy with music playing all over the place. I went there with one of my friends and both of us had a good time.
I started with a 'Mojito' mocktail. I’m pretty sure Cuban Pete’s doesn’t serve alcohol. I think I had the pineapple flavor, but honestly, the mojito was so refreshing that I could have finished a whole pitcher by myself. It was sweet, light, and really tasty. My friend ordered the same drink. For specialty drinks, you can choose either a single cup or a pitcher for the table.
Now for the food: I ordered the 'Pollo Cubano,' which is boneless chicken covered in a Cuban garlic mojo sauce. The sauce tasted creamy and savory, with lots of garlic flavor. It came with plantains and a big plate of rice and beans on the side, which were both great.
My friend had the 'Pollo a la Plancha,' a marinated chicken breast served with cilantro salsa and the same sides. Both dishes looked fantastic. What stood out to me was how simple the food was—not packed with strong flavors, but still super filling. I was already full halfway through my plate, lol.
