Another Instagram find of mine recently was Taliercio's in Middletown, New Jersey. I have heard nothing but ravenous reviews about this place through other food bloggers, so my expectations were high, and I was excited to see what the hype was.
I ordered 'The Chalky White Sandwich,' which has veal, hot capicola, smoked mozzarella and provolone, and muffaletta (olive salad/spread) with a balsamic glaze. This sandwich was literally to die for! It was so huge that I couldn't even wrap my hands around it, and I had to take two bites each time because my mouth couldn't fit the whole sandwich, lol. I had to take one bite on the top and a bite on the bottom each time. Overall the sandwich itself was spectacular, the meats and cheeses were fresh, and the balsamic hit the spot. I did not care as much for the muffaletta, but it was still fantastic! I also got their 'Fried Ravioli,' which is a common specialty here and delicious. The raviolis' were really good, there are six that come altogether. It was breaded and crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside.
Now, the menu here is truly endless with options galore from sandwiches of all kinds, salads, and so many other deli specialty goodies. I am not kidding, it took at least fifteen minutes to decide what I actually wanted from here, lol. Speaking of menus though, Taliercio's offers a bunch of menus from family dinners, Thanksgiving, Easter, the Holidays, and the Super Bowl. The options here are amazing and are definitely worth looking into it! Obviously, catering is provided here and seems to be a big hit with all the menus they got! All ordering is mainly to-go here, either in person or ordering online. Taliercio's is definitely the best of the best, and you should give them a try if you are in the Middletown or Red Bank area!
