Del Fuego (Mexican - Saint James, New York)

Del Fuego on Long Island is truly fuego. Between their excellent drinks and tasty food, you won't get enough of this place! They have three locations throughout Suffolk County: one in Babylon, one in East Northport, one in Patchogue, and another in Saint James, which is the one I went to. I went with my friend and his fiance, and the vibes at this place were great. Plus, there is lots of outdoor seating, which is perfect with the warmer weather.

Who can say no to margaritas?!

When I went, I ordered their 'Signature Margarita,' which had Jose Cuervo's traditional blanco tequila and Fuego XXX. This was so good, as it was light and refreshing. It was not over-the-top, not too simple or basic, it was just perfect. Plus, you can't get a margarita without a sugar or salt rim, and I got mine with salt, which was a perfect balance between sweet and salty.

Let's talk about these tacos

For food, I got the 'Carne Asada Taco,' and the 'Chorizo Tacos,' which were both delicious. The 'Carne Asada' one had grilled steak, poblano aioli, jack cheddar cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo. I loved how flavorful this was between the steak, aioli, and cheese, specifically. It was spectacular. The 'Chorizo' came with Mexican chorizo, sauteed onions, chili-spiced potatoes, and garlic-cilantro aioli. I was obsessed with all the ingredients in this taco, especially the chorizo. It was all way too good! If I had to choose, I prefer the 'Chorizo' one more than the 'Carne Asada.'
