Burritos always hit the spot, and recently, I found the perfect spot in North Jersey, which is Tacoria in Montclair. They also have a bunch of locations throughout the state in Hoboken, Jersey City, Morristown, New Brunswick, Paramus, Piscataway, and Princeton. The food and vibes here are all immaculate, and I left this establishment wanting more.
When I went, I got a burrito with al pastor (pork with spices and pineapple), brown rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream, onions, and chipotle aioli. This burrito was the absolute bomb!! Everything about this was perfect and tasted so flawlessly. I really cannot describe this other than everything tasting simply amazing from the meat, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, tangy kick of the chipotle aioli wrapped in the golden wrap. This was just delectable!
Besides that, I also ordered the 'Golden Avocado,' which is a fried avocado that comes with chipotle aioli dipping sauce on the side. This was tasty and fried goodness. Eating a fried avocado tasted interesting and something unlike I have not had before because it was a combination of eating some bad for you but good at the same time. That is because avocados contain healthy fat that is good for us, but the fried coating makes it fattening and not so great. Since this is a Mexican restaurant, I had to get chips and guac as well. These tasted fresh and delicious and also hit the spot!
On top of burritos, Tacoria also has tacos, nachos, quesadillas, burrito boxes, salads, and more. Tacoria is also vegan-friendly, and they have a vegan menu for all those who eat strictly vegan. Takeout and delivery are offered here as well. Catering is provided here too, and you can check their menu out on their website if you are interested.
