Salpino's Italian Food Market (Italian/Deli - North Bellemore, New York)

In my opinion, nothing beats a fresh sandwich from an Italian deli; what better place to get one than Salpino's Italian Food Market in North Bellemore? They also have two other locations in the area in Wantagh and North Babylon. Walking in, you feel the true Italian market vibes between the deli stand, bakery stand, and aisles of all the other goodies.

When I went, I decided to get the 'Salame de Bufala Focaccia Sandwich,' which is also known as the 'Toscana Focaccia Sandwich.' It had salame toscana, buffalo mozzarella, artichoke cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and EVOO. This sandwich was excellent and tasted heavenly! In my opinion, focaccia bread is perfect for Italian sandwiches! Between the saltiness of the salame, the savory creaminess of the mozzarella, the tanginess of the sun-dried tomatoes, and the freshness of the artichoke cream and EVOO...this was all chef's kiss.  This was stacked, filling, and something I would absolutely order again.
