Moondog Market (Healthy - Lake Como, New Jersey)

If you want a taste of what Erewhon in California is like, check out Moondog Market in Lake Como. I have not been to an Erewhon before (or yet); however, I have been told it is similar: an organic, health-focused market with non-GMO, locally sourced whole foods and seed-oil-free products.

The 'Ocean Blue' looks and tastes excellent

Walking around the market it's pretty quaint and small with loads of pre-packed items (crackers, cookies, salads, sandwiches, dressings etc). I have been seeing the 'Ocean Blue Smoothie' all over my Instagram so I had to have one. It looks very aesthetically pleasing and it tastes absolutely amazing and is also very healthy. The smoothie contained banana, pineapple, coconut water, coconut yogurt, dates, avocado and blue spirulina. It was incredibly filling and satisfying and the best bit was that I felt absolutely great afterwards!

I also tried the 'Chicken Salad,' and it was really tasty. It was light, fluffy, and creamy, with a nice balance between the chicken and mayo. I thought I noticed a hint of citrus. Maybe I am imagining it, but I think I might have tasted some avocado in there too.
