Rosa's Pizza (Pizza - Huntington, New York)

A few weeks ago, I was out on Long Island and made a quick pit stop at Rosa's Pizza in Huntington while I was with some friends. Besides Huntington, there is another Long Island location in Great Neck and a few other spots in Queens (Maspeth, Middle Village, and Ridgewood) and Williamsburg (Brooklyn).

When I walked into the shop, I was memorized by the aromas and blown away by the variety of pies, and how big the slices were. If you have been keeping up with my reviews, you know I LOVE specialty slices, and was so happy to eat some. The first slice I got was the 'BBQ Chicken,' which was amazing. It had all the traditional BBQ Chicken ingredients and flavors you could want and more! What I loved about the 'BBQ Chicken Pizza' was that the chicken and bbq sauce were on top of the slice with the cheese underneath. I found that to be a unique concept that you do not see often, which I enjoyed. The next slice I ate was their 'Baked Ziti pizza,' which was to die for! As you might know, I am obsessed with ziti/rigatoni pizza, and this slice hit the spot. The sauce creamy, and there was pasta and cheese galore. I wished there was a little more sauce on the slice, as it seemed a tad dry to me, but nonetheless, it was still very tasty.

When it comes to the food, Rosa's has all the menu items you would expect to find at a pizza place. Pickup is offered here, and I am not too certain about delivery, but I think it depends on what delivery platforms are offered, such as GrubHub, DoorDash, etc., but it is still worth a try. Next time you are in the Long Island, Brooklyn, and/or Queens area, and are in the mood for some good pizza, definitely hit up Rosa's Pizza!
