Punta Cana Dominican Grill (Dominican - Westbury, New York)
When I was out on Long Island last weekend, I went to try Punta Cana Dominican Grill which is known for its delicious Dominican food. I went to their location in Westbury, however they also have a second spot in Rockville Centre.
For my food, I got the 'Pernil Burrito,' and pernil is roasted pork. With my burrito, I had mine with their yellow rice and beans, mozzarella, maduros (fried sweet plantain), and pickled onions. The burrito was packed with flavor oozing out everywhere. Plus, this was a mouthful, and every bite felt like a fireworks show because my tastebuds were exploding from all the flavor, lol. I also loved how tightly and neatly wrapped the burrito was. Besides the burrito, I also got the 'Beef Empanada.' The empanada had a ton of flavor and seasoning from the beef, and it was heavenly.
At Punta Cana Dominican Grill, you can order Cana bowls, burritos, quesadillas, salad bowls, mofongo, empanadas, empanada combos, and much more. Pickup and delivery are both offered here. If you want a slice of the Dominican Republic or feel like you are in Punta Cana, you have to give this place a try!

Your review makes me crave a trip to Punta Cana Dominican Grill the way you described the Pernil Burrito almost felt like I was tasting it myself! I remember a weekend when I treated myself to a similar foodie adventure while juggling a heavy study load, and I ended up using online biology class help just to keep up with assignments. It’s amazing how a little culinary escape can recharge your energy and make tackling schoolwork feel a bit more manageable.
