Pit Stop (American - Merrick, New York)

The Pit Stop on Long Island hands down has the most menu options I have ever seen from a restaurant before. It took me almost 15 minutes to read the entire Pit Stop menu, lol. This Merrick spot has nearly every type of food you can think of.

When I went, I got the 'Blackened Caesar Pasta Salad,' which had penne, blackened chicken, romaine, grape tomatoes, bacon, and parmesan cheese with caesar dressing. This salad was super delicious and had so much going on between the caesar, bacon, pasta, and especially the chicken. The blackened chicken was incredible, and that was the star of this dish. In addition, I also had the 'Brisket Sandwich,' which came with brisket, caramelized onions, and gravy. I did not get the gravy, but I should have, as the sandwich tasted dry without it. I hate dry sandwiches, and the gravy definitely would have been a great touch. However, the brisket and onions were excellent.

On top of that, I also ordered the 'Chicken Portobello Wrap,' which had chicken, sundried tomato, gorgonzola, lettuce, and balsamic vinaigrette. The wrap was super tasty, and I was especially loving the sundried tomato and gorgonzola. This was too good, and I would definitely order this wrap again.
