I think delis are spectacular, as they offer lots of great food, especially sandwiches. Delis are also the type of food place that you truly cannot go wrong with, and will always be happy. Recently, I came across Park Wood Deli in Midland Park through my Instagram, and after reviewing their page, I knew I had to try this place out for myself.
When I went, I ordered 'The Smoker,' which had smoked ham, smoked turkey, bacon, muenster cheese, and barbeque sauce. This sandwich was completely satisfying and hit the spot! The meats and cheese tasted so fresh and authentic, which I loved. The smokiness of everything was a nice bonus. On top of that, the barbeque sauce complemented the sandwich itself really well. Normally, I typically have mayo on my sandwiches, but I thought it was good to mix it up this time, and the barbeque sauce was delicious.
Besides sandwiches, Park Wood Deli offers salads, starters, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, pizza, hot entrees, and more. Note, if you do order food for Christmas, you have to pick everything up no later than 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Pickup and delivery are also offered here as well.
