Breakfast is typically a meal I usually skip out on and do not care for as much as I do for lunch and dinner. However, I do enjoy going out and getting something here and there on rare occasions. Not too long ago, I met with a friend at The Morning Rose Cafe in Bellmore for breakfast/brunch (considering it was late morning). This was my first time going, and all I will say is it won't be my last, from the food, service, staff, atmosphere, everything about this spot was fantastic, warm, friendly, and home-like.
For my meal, I had the 'Cinnamon Bun Pancakes,' which were buttermilk pancakes with a cinnamon swirl and a cream cheese icing. These pancakes were to die for! Very sweet, fluffy, and delightful. The ratio between cinnamon bun-like and the actual pancakes themselves was perfect.
Besides pancakes, you can also order waffles, French toast, eggs, etc. They also have coffee, juice, tea, and other fountain drinks as well as alcohol from mimosas, Bloody Marys, margaritas, wine, and beer. Lunch is also served here and is great place to come to if you're looking for an early lunch! One cool thing about The Morning Rose Cafe is that they offer e-gift cards to customers as well, which you can use whenever you want. Breakfast out on Long Island just got a whole lot better thanks to The Morning Rose Cafe, and you have to try this place out if you can!
