Recently, I got Marra's Uptown Sandwich & Salad House in East Hanover for lunch, and I was happy I did! The food is delicious, and the menu variety here is incredible.
I ordered 'The Forgione Salad,' which had baby spinach, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, red onions, grape tomatoes, chickpeas, and shaved parmesan in a citrus vinaigrette. This salad was pretty tasty and a great way to eat your veggies, as there were many! The dressing was very citrusy and went perfectly with this salad. I do wish it came with some sort of protein, but this was still great. On top of that, I also got the 'Eggplant Spring Roll,' which was amazing! It was a breaded eggplant wrapped with ricotta and arugula (I believe) that came with a creamy balsamic vinaigrette. The idea of an eggplant spring roll to me is genius, and this was very flavorful. Plus, I could not get enough of the balsamic, as it was creamy and thick and made my tastebuds burst with flavor.
