Kong Dog (Corndogs - Paramus, New Jersey)

Kong Dog has gone viral for their sensational corndogs with unique flavors that are out-of-this-world. I recently went to their Paramus location in the Garden State Plaza Mall to try some. Besides Paramus, they also have locations throughout New Jersey and New York in Wallington, Newark, Union City, Staten Island, Lake Grove, Poughkeepsie, and Albany. They also have spots in Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.

When I went, I tried the ‘Potato Dog,’ and ‘Churro Dog.’ The ‘Potato Dog’ has a French fry coating, which was really tasty, and goes perfect with corndog “shell.” I did get this with half mozzarella cheese and half hotdog, and I definitely found this to be quite unique. Great cheese pulls are guaranteed, and if you love cheese, this is a great option for you! Especially if you do not want all hot dog. The ‘Churro Dog’ has a sweet potato exterior with churro sugar coating, and is a great balance for both sweet and savory. I did get all hot dog with this one. I did like this one better, as I found it to be unique and the churro flavor actually complemented the corndog really well.
