The Meltique (Desserts - Morristown, New Jersey)

Last week, I was invited into The Meltique in downtown Morristown to try out some of their delicious menu items, and let me tell you, everything here was pretty sweet!

The only reaction to have to The O-M-G Box is OMG!

One of the things I tried here, which is also the most popular item here, is 'The O-M-G Box,' which is a box filled with mini pancakes, brownies, waffles, strawberries, and bananas with chocolate and white chocolate dipping sauces. This serves about four to six people and is perfect for parties, special occasions, or simply because. The box is super creative, and I love how you get a taste of everything without feeling full.

Cake in a can

I also had the cake cans, which were both really good, and another innovative idea. Everyone loves cake, and why not get it in a can, where you can take it with you wherever you are? The one on the left was the 'Tiramisu,' and it was very delicious. I found it a little heavy, and it tasted a bit darker than normal tiramisu, but I thought it was really tasty. The one on the right was 'Mango,' and I really liked that one the best. It was much lighter, and the mango blended well with the cake and cream, complementing each other really well.

Matcha but make it banana cream

In addition, I also got to try some of their beverages, and one of them was their 'Banana Cream Matcha Latte,' which is pretty self-explanatory. However, if you love matcha, you will love this drink, and if you also like bananas.

Can't say to an 'Iced Nutella Latte'

The other beverage I had was their 'Iced Nutella Latte,' and I loved it! This was literally like drinking Nutella if that is possible, lol. It was super creamy, and every sip melted right in my mouth. It was so good!

Raspberry & lime do make a refreshing flavor combo

On top of that, I tried the 'Raspberry & Lime Seltzer Refresher,' a light refresher with seltzer, raspberry, and lime. This drink tasted light, airy, and was not super carbonated, which I liked. Plus, this made me feel really hydrated.  There is a lot of flavor in this drink, and it is a perfect palate cleanser from all those sweets, especially if you're someone who gets a sugary aftertaste from eating sweets.
