The Craftsman (Gastropub - Fair Lawn, New Jersey)

If you want a fun place to visit on the weekend, try The Craftsman in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. It has everything you could want: delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, great drinks, and more.

I came with a friend, and we started off with the 'Margarita Flight,' as it is a Happy Hour special, and we had to take advantage of it while it lasted lol. The flight came with four flavors, and unique names for them, and it was hard to tell which flavor was which. There was 'Performer,' 'Supergreen,' 'Refresher,' and C-Breeze.' The 'Refresher' was my favorite of all four, as it was truly refreshing, lol. It tasted sweet and almost creamy, like a margarita. The 'Performer' tasted like a sweet tequila margarita, and the 'C-Breeze' tasted almost like a tropical drink. The 'Supergreen' was also good, but it was very strong!

Can't beat a 'Margarita Flight!'

For food, I had the 'Rigatoni Ala Vodka,' which is pretty self-explanatory, but did not disappoint! The sauce was creamy and delicious, and overall, this really hit the spot! I would definitely come back again just for this!

My friend got the 'Signature Burger' with fries. It came with whisky onions, doubled-smoked bacon, aged cheddar, and the spicy Craftsman sauce. I did not have it, but it looked good! Plus, you can't go wrong with an embroidered bun.

For dessert, we had the 'Cookie Skillet,' which was amazing! Nothing beats a warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce on top! It truly tastes heavenly, no matter where you get one!

If you're salivating from the 'Cookie Skillet,' that's a good thing lol!

At The Craftsman, you can enjoy dinner, weekend brunch, Happy Hour (Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.), Taco & Tequila Tuesday, Ladies' Night (every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.), and more. The restaurant also hosts parties and events, each with its own specific menu. You can choose from the designated rooms of Rosewood, Dunbrody, The Garden, or the Outdoor Patio when booking your event through The Craftsman's website. Reservations are available via Resy, and you can also find event updates or job inquiries online.
