Tavern 5 is a local place near me where I eat from time to time whether it's going for a sit-down meal or takeout, the food and service here are both great! So I figured I tell you guys a little about this place.
Recently when I went, I got the 'Crispy Eggplant Wrap,' which has with it fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, lettuce, balsamic vinagrette, and pesto. This was delicious and the flavors between the crispy eggplant, fresh cheese, sweetness from the roasted red peppers as well as the combination between the balsamic and pesto was delectable. I also ordered 'Sweet Potato Fries' with this wrap and they were really good. The fries had a great ratio of being very crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.
I've also ordered before the 'Tavern Nachos,' which comes with chili, lettuce, jalapenos, sour cream, and mixed cheese. You can't go wrong with nachos, and these don't disappoint! The nachos here are one of my favorites and taste just spectacular! On top of that, I've also had the 'Caesar Salad,' before which is also really great, however, I ordered mine as a side which you can do if you don't want it as a main meal.
Not pictured but in the past, I've also had the 'Tavern 5' (pepperjack cheese, avocado, lettuce, bacon, tomato, chipotle aioli), 'Jack Daniel's Barbecue' (cheddar, bacon, Jack Daniel's barbecue sauce), and Whiskey (caramelized onion, cheddar, Jack Daniel's glaze) Burgers before and all of them are to die for. The meat is always cooked to perfection and all the other elements with the burgers just hit the spot!
Tavern 5 is open every day except on Sundays and Mondays. They are open for lunch from noon to four p.m. and dinner from five to ten p.m. at night. You can also book an event here as well. Plus, you can also use and buy gift cards whenever you choose to eat from this restaurant. Tavern 5 is a great place that fantastic food and vibes and is worth giving a try.
