Shaka Kitchen (Cafe - Morristown, New Jersey)

My latest food find is Shaka Kitchen in Morristown, New Jersey, a wellness-based cafe that focuses on nutrition and serving food to fuel you. Situated in the middle of the town, this is the perfect spot surrounded by other stores and shops to grab a quick bite to eat or drink, or even on the go. In addition to their Morristown location, they have two in Hoboken: one on Monroe Street and another on Washington Street. I had the chance to visit not too long ago and try a few of their tasty menu items.

When I went, I had a few of their Fall Specials. One of them was their 'Honey BBQ Quesadillas,' which had grilled BBQ chicken, cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, and peppers that came in a chipotle sauce on the side and drizzled on top. These quesadillas were beyond tasty and filling! There was so much going on between the chicken, cheese, beans, and corn. The chipotle sauce was also super creamy and delectable, and it made this dish for me! These may look on the small side, but trust me when I say there were lots of quesadillas, as I kept finding more and more as they were hidden lol. I also had a chance to go back into the kitchen to see how the quesadillas are made, which was really cool!

I also tried their 'Cinnamon Toast Crunch Smoothie,' which had banana, granola, dates, cinnamon protein, peanut butter, and almond milk. The smoothie was delicious, and I could really taste the banana, cinnamon, and peanut butter. I thought this was a genius fusion between the popular cereal we all know and love and a smoothie. If you want to try both of these menu items, I would get down to Shaka Kitchen ASAP, as fall is coming to an end soon!

Make sure you keep up with all the seasonal specials at Shaka Kitchen, as they do change seasonally. Besides the specials, customers can order anything from their tacos, quesadillas, bowls (breakfast, land, sea, and acai), smoothies, coffee, and more. Customers can also purchase merchandise, as well as Shaka's house-made sauces and granola. Pickup, delivery, and catering are all offered here. Gift cards are available for purchase and use. If interested, you can find out more about Shaka's rewards program, career opportunities, franchising, and more on their website. Shaka Kitchen values happiness, health, balance, transparency, and flavor above all things, and that definitely comes through in their menu items. If you are all about wellness, then this is the spot you need to check out!
