Taco Tuesdays (Mexican - Freeport, New York)

Why celebrate Taco Tuesdays only on Tuesdays when you can celebrate it every day at Taco Tuesdays out on Long Island in Freeport? This place has everything: tasty food, great drinks, a terrific ambiance, terrific views, and a great location on the water. Doesn't get any better than that!

'Tacos Al Pastor with Rice & Beans'

When I went, I had to try their tacos of course, and got the 'Tacos Al Pastor,' which had pork and pineapple, and also came with rice and beans. This was really good, and the tacos here are incredible!! Highly recommend getting those! These were very authentic and loaded with tons of flavor. They were pretty spicy and had a lot of kick, which is perfect if you love spice.

'Classic Margarita'

You really can’t have tacos without a margarita, so I ordered the Classic Margarita. It came with tequila, triple sec, lemon and lime mix, and orange juice. The drink was light and refreshing, but also pretty strong—it definitely gave me a bit of a buzz, lol.

'Steak Quesadillas'

Going back to the food, I also tried the 'Steak Quesadillas,' which came with spicy salsa, avocado sauce, and crema. These go great with the spicy salsa. In addition, I had the 'Chicken Burrito,' which had rice, black beans, pico, lettuce, cheese, avocado sauce, and crema. The burrito is very filling and is guaranteed to make you feel stuffed!

Plus, Taco Tuesdays also now serves brunch and has a limited menu of hot and cold coffee, liqueur coffee, and breakfast burritos and quesadillas. I did get an iced coffee, and added some Oreos and whipped cream as toppings, which really made the coffee! This was sweet perfection, just how I like my iced coffee!

At Taco Tuesdays, you can have anything from brunch to tacos, quesadillas, burritos, salads, platters, nachos, margaritas, sangria, desserts, and more. Weekly specials here are discounts on tacos, margaritas, sangria, and beer on Tuesdays, as well as Birria Fridays, with birria tacos being sold until they all sell out. Takeout, delivery, and catering are all available here. Private events can also be held at the store, and inquiries can be made online on their website. If you are a fanatic for Taco Tuesday and want to experience every day of the week, then this is the spot for you, as you will easily get your fill!
