I came to Stone & Rail in Glen Rock recently with a friend, and I was beyond impressed with everything this place had to offer, from the food, to the drinks, to the service and the vibes. It is honestly just the perfect place to go when eating out or if you are looking for a fun time out!
One of the things that sold me on this place was that they have brunch flights here. Once I saw that, I knew I HAD to give Stone & Rail a review. When I came, I obviously went for brunch and drinks, you already know what I got! In my opinion, brunch flights are a creative thing to do, as we have seen flights of beer, wine, and even coffee, so why not brunch drinks? The flight consisted of a mimosa, a Bellini, red sangria and white sangria. Overall, I was a HUGE fan of this and loved all the drinks as they all tasted like the classic brunch drinks we all love. However, my favorite drink was probably the Bellini. I do not know why but something about it that tasted fresh, sweet and light.
For food, I ordered the 'Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich.' I would say this was pretty much like 'Chicken & Waffles,' except for the no waffles. The sandwich had fried chicken, red cabbage slaw and a hot honey glaze. It tasted like a dream with every bite and was very sweet, savory and messy. I had some sticky fingers afterward, but it was totally worth it. I also got some 'Onion Rings,' and they hit the spot with the meal. They were golden, crispy and lightly greasy, which was delectable.
If you do not already, follow Stone & Rail on social media and head to their website to catch any events that are upcoming and taking place there. Besides brunch, make sure to pay a visit to try out some of their beer, as that is one of the things this joint is well-known for. Also for food, you can order appetizers, salads, soups, bar pies, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, classic dishes (steak, seafood, etc.), dessert and so much more. They also have options for takeout and delivery too. Overall, the vibes are truly immaculate at Stone & Rail, and you need to go and be a part of the fun that comes with being at this place!
