I've heard of the Se-port deli for a long time now. Some of my friends live in the area and eat from there often, so I decided to give this joint a try for myself to see how incredible it is!
When I got there, I looked at the menu for at least a good five minutes because the options don't stop and everything looks so good, it makes choosing something that much more complicated! However, I narrowed my decision down to the 'Gasm,' which one of my friends suggested. It has chicken cutlets, mozzarella cheese, bacon, Russian dressing, and coleslaw on a garlic hero. Everything was delicious, and it was an explosion of flavor from the cheese, chicken, saltiness from the bacon, the garlic from the bread, and creaminess from the Russian dressing coleslaw.
I also got the 'Queens' which is a similar sandwich. The only difference though is that instead of the Russian dressing and coleslaw, it comes with macaroni salad and honey mustard. Now amongst the two, this one was my favorite as it has a little more of a sweeter taste to it from the macaroni and honey mustard. In my opinion, it helps make this sub and the combination..."perfect!" No other better to describe it than that because everything just tastes right!
Now there may be unlimited sandwiches here. But so is their chopped salad bar, power bowls (which is like ordering a bowl at Chipotle), burritos, quesadillas, and acai bowls. Se-port food is available for in-person dining as there are multiple tables and benches set up inside and outside and takeout and delivery through Grubhub, Doordash, UberEats, etc. Plus as a bonus, Se-port also caters for any parties and events as their menu will leave drooling as there is so much to choose from!
If you're in the Suffolk County area, or near the Stony Brook University area (to be specific), you have to go to Se-port because you're missing out on the sandwich of your life if you don't!
