Ovest Pizzoteca (Pizza - Manhattan (Chelsea), New York)

The last time I was in the city, I was in Chelsea and stumbled across Ovest Pizzoteca, and thought it would be a good idea to give it a try. Walking inside, the ambiance was fantastic, and I already knew the food would be too.

The 'Ovest Pizza'

When I came, I ordered the 'Ovest Pizza,' which had tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, and spicy salami. This was also a wood-fired pie, which we know I love! The flavor was on point from the cheese, sauce, and salami. The dough was cooked perfectly, not too soft, and not too crunchy. I do wish there were a bit more mozzarella. However, this was still a terrific pizza, and I would order this again when coming.

At Ovest Pizzoteca, customers can order anything from pizza, pasta, salad, appetizers, main dishes, dessert, beverages, and more. Takeout and delivery are available here. Also, Aperitivo Italiano takes place on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., which is basically like happy hour. It is an Italian tradition and ritual in the early evening, between midday and night, where friends and family get together and socialize with light food and drinks. If you love pizza, Italian, and good vibes, Ovest Pizzoteca is the perfect spot to try!
