Finding great burger joints is always a win-win because it's always great food, great service, and especially a great atmosphere and Local Burger Co. in Bay Shore has all of that! I found this place on Instagram and knew I had to pay visit. I went with one of my friends and his girlfriend and there was plenty of food to go around for all of us.
To start everything off, we got some wings and ordered the boneless Buffalo 10 piece, and they were delectable. The breading was extremely crispy and crunchy, the meat was tender, and the sauce was spicy but not overwhelming where you could not eat it, which was good. We also got some blue cheese and ranch with the wings, and I will admit both sauces were the BEST I have ever tasted! Seriously though! I do not know how to describe it other than being creamy. They had a little bit of thickness to them which I found interesting. Overall it tasted different in a good way, and I wish I could have eaten an entire container of both the blue cheese and ranch because they were so good! Although it's not pictured, I got their 'Strawberry Lemonade,' which was super tasty. I did not take a picture because it was in a dark blue cup which would not have done the picture much justice.
For my meal, I had the 'Atomic Burger,' which came with cheddar, bacon, raw onion, pickles, jalapenos, and Sriracha mayo. I do not like pickles and jalapenos and pulled them off, so I have no idea why I even order this, lol. However, the burger itself was incredible from the meat being juicy, the bun being soft, and the Sriracha mayo being a "spicy creamy." The bun also had the zip code stamp, and I love good bun stamp. How cool does it look?!
Also, we ordered a couple sides to go with the burgers. My friends and I got the 'Beer Battered Onion Rings,' 'Salt & Vinegar Fries,' and the 'Parmesan Truffle Fries.' The 'Onion Rings' were my personal favorite, you can go wrong with them. Plus, the beer-battered breading is simply to die for and what makes onion rings so good! The 'Salt & Vinegar Fries' were surprisingly my other close favorite. The salt and vinegar flavors with the fries made my mouth burst with flavor as I was eating them. The 'Parmesan Truffle Fries' were also really good too, and the parmesan truffle flavorings and seasonings always hit the spot!
Besides what my friends and I ordered, you can also any of the other Local Burger burgers as well as hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, wings, fries, milkshakes, a bunch of other sides, and much more. This place is also gluten-free friendly as they have a gluten-free menu too. Besides having a sit-down meal here, you can also for takeout and delivery too. Next time, you are in Suffolk County and are looking for a great place to eat that will make either yourself or your company all happy, you gotta give Local Burger Co. a try!
