Over the weekend, I visited Lezzet Mediterranean Grill out on Long Island in Smithtown, and they invited me in for a review. This place is known for its authentic Turkish and Mediterranean food. I brought one of my friends who lives nearby, and we were both excited to see what this establishment had to offer.

For a starter, we got the 'Hummus,' which was good! This hummus tasted super creamy, more than others I have eaten before. It was light, smooth, and flavorful, as besides the chickpeas, it was packed with garlic, tahini, cumin, and lemon.

For my meal, I had the 'Chopped Meat Pide' or the 'Kusbasi Pide,' which was a long flatbread that gets filled with many toppings, this is also known as a Turkish pizza. My pide had chopped meat, vegetables, and mozzarella. This thing was massive, like it was just as long as the table no joke! I wish I could show the video on how long the pide was, but I did add a picture of what it looks like. It still does not do any justice though, lol.

My friend ordered the 'Grilled Chicken Shish Kebab,' which had grilled chicken as well as grilled tomatoes and peppers that came with rice and a yogurt sauce. I did not try any, but it looked colorful, fresh, and flavorful, and my friend did mention that the chicken was super seasoned, which he loved.
At Lezzet, you can order any of their appetizers, soups, salads, oven specials, main dishes, seafood, sandwiches, lunch special platters, desserts, and more. Lezzet Mediterranean Grill is a fantastic place to come with your family and friends that is inviting with great food, and is a spot you have to check out!
