If you're in North Jersey and in the mood for some Greek food, you have to check out Just Greek/Yanni's Taverna in Caldwell. The vibes and aesthetic here are fantastic, and the food is tasty, fresh, and full of flavor.

This gyro tasted even better than it looks

When I went, I was craving a gyro, so I ordered the 'Pork Souvlaki Pita Sandwich.' This was essentially a traditional gyro, featuring tender pork souvlaki, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, onion, and cool tzatziki sauce. The pork had a smoky, charred flavor that really stood out. I also tried the 'Spinach Pie,' a massive serving filled with a generous amount of spinach and cheese inside a flaky, golden crust. It was rich, savory, and the crust was perfectly crisp and light.

Their menu has everything from starters and spreads to platters, pita sandwiches, salads, tacos, burgers, and bowls. You can order for pickup, delivery, or even catering. They have a location in Livingston, too, not just West Caldwell. You can also buy e-gift cards. If you’re looking for a new Greek restaurant to try, this place is a great choice.
