As you all know by now, I am always on the hunt to try out some new food spots, and one of my most recent finds is Il Panino Italian Deli & Catering in Fairfield, New Jersey. I was recently looking to try out a new deli for lunch in my area, and I came across Il Panino and decided to give it a try.
When I went, I got the 'Tuna Salad Wrap,' which had tuna salad (obviously), muenster cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo. These flavors and flavoring combinations together were simply a match made in heaven. Every bite was glorious, and this wrap is how you should be eating tuna salad, in my opinion. This was definitely one of my favorite tuna salad wraps/sandwiches I have had for sure.
On top of that, I also ordered their 'Homemade Rice Balls,' that is stuffed with rice and cheese, and comes with marinara sauce. In my book, you cannot ever go wrong with any type of food that is breaded or crispy with a cheese filling and has dipping sauce, so this was perfection for me. It was beyond delicious and just so good in general.
Besides my meal, you can order a variety of things at Il Panino, such as wraps, paninis, hot and cold sandwiches, specialty and triple-decker sandwiches, Italian quesadillas, hot dogs, salads, pasta, entrees, specials, platters, omelets, breakfast sandwiches and wraps, and so much more. Catering is available here, and you can check out their menu online. Takeout and delivery are also available too. Now for those going, this place is open every day until 5 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and Saturdays until 3 p.m. However, Sunday is only open for catering. Delivery is only available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are in need of a good deli in the Fairfield area, definitely check out Il Panino Italian Deli & Catering!
