If you're a big burrito person or love eating at places that offer unique food creations and options, then you came to the right place because the next joint I'll be taking you all to is my first New York review and another favorite of mine, Fat Boy’s Burritos Co. Fat Boy's is a specialty burrito phenomenon in Bellmore, New York out on Long Island. Now I am not a Long Islander myself, but most of my friends are and whenever I go out to visit them, I try to get a Fat Boy's burrito if I get the chance. I've been to this eatery now a couple of times and every time I go, this place does not ever disappoint! If you can't tell by now, I'm all about specialty food.
Fat Boy’s is known for their “fat burritos," now these are not burritos that have the typical rice, beans, meat and cheese in them. These burritos have fat sandwich content wrapped in a burrito, if you’ve read my post on CARS, this is pretty much the same thing with food like fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, cheesesteak, you get what I’m saying. My personal favorite Fat Boy's burrito is the ‘Fat Hangover’ which includes chicken fingers, mac & cheese, bacon, tater tots, onion strings, queso, BBQ sauce and blue cheese. It's tastes as amazing as it sounds and is an incredible mixture of sweet, cheesy, savory, greasy and filling for sure!
I’ve also previously had ‘The Fat Daddy’ which has chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fries, rice, and their signature Fat Boy’s sauce which is really good too. Another burrito I’ve eaten before is ‘The Fat Mac’ which has chicken fingers, mac & cheese, queso, onion strings, black beans as well as their classic Fat Boy’s sauce. 'The Fat Mac Daddy’ is another similar burrito from ‘The Fat Mac’ except this burrito has tater tots instead of the queso and black beans. It is most likely not possible that you will finish your burrito all in one-sitting and will be having some leftovers for later. I've never been able to finish any of my burritos in one take nor know anyone who has. However, if you are able to eat it all at once, chances are you will probably end up in a food coma for at least three days, lol.
Besides Fat Boy's signature burritos, you can also order one of their build-your-own burritos and bowls with fat burrito selections as well as their salads, tacos, quesadillas and even sweets too with plenty of sides, sauces and dressings that customers can buy. Plus on top of that, you can even order alcohol if you’re 21 or older as they offer some signature cocktails and beer to order too. They offer takeout for pickup and delivery or you could even eat outside there if you’re lucky to get a table as they have a few set up in the front and back of the building, but this is a place that really accommodates for takeout and delivery. Now Fat Boy’s also has merchandise you could order if you want anything from face masks, hoodies, shirts, hats and bottled sauces, they've got you covered. If you're in the Long Island or Nassau County area, Fat Boy's is a place you absolutely have to hit up because you're seriously missing out on eating the burrito of a lifetime if you don't go!
