Boardwalk Pizza in Fairfield is one of the pizza places in my area I go to and the food here is phenomenal. A lot of the menu selections are specialties that are creative and unique and we all know that is my favorite kind of food. I am keeping this review strictly for pizza only, however, I have had some of Boardwalk Pizza's other food and it is to die for!
One of my favorite pies that I typically order from this joint is called the 'Boom Boom Pizza.' It has chicken cutlet, bacon, celery, and onions, and is smothered in chipotle BBQ, ranch, and their signature boom boom sauce. To be honest, I am not exactly sure what is in the boom boom sauce, but all I'll say is it makes your taste buds go boom boom! There are so many incredible flavors going on with this pizza: cheesy, meaty, sweet, salty, spicy, and tangy. Now, you have the option to choose a size either Personal (12"), Large (18"), or Jumbo (24"). Last time, I had the Jumbo Pie, as seen in the pic, and it was for sure a mouthful, to say the least!
The other pie I recently had was their 'Margherita Pizza,' which I think is pretty self-explanatory. This pizza tasted very fresh from the cheese and to the sauce. The crust was golden, light, and crispy and had a perfect balance of not being too soft or too hard. I enjoyed this pie more than I thought I would, lol. This was a true, classic Margherita Pizza at its finest.
Some of the other pizzas not pictured that I have eaten from Boardwalk Pizza before is the 'Chicken Parm Pizza,' which is another amazing one. Plus, I have also had the 'Everything Pizza,' which has pepperoni, sausage, meatball, onions, peppers, and bacon. This was delicious too and had a good combination of meaty and crunchy from the vegetables.
Besides pizza, there is a ton of great food to eat at Boardwalk Pizza as well, and I mean A TON of food from sandwiches, salads, appetizers, pasta, soups, dinners, dessert, and oh so much more. Catering is also big here and the portion size is a lot and enough to feed an entire army! Overall, Boardwalk Pizza is a fantastic place and I highly suggest giving them a try if you're in the area!
