The Taco Project (Mexican - Tarrytown, New York)

Last week, I had the chance to check out The Taco Project in Tarrytown, New York, and let me tell you, this place is spectacular! The food is authentic, the vibes are fantastic, the service is great, and everything you could want in an awesome restaurant and more. Besides their location in Tarrytown, The Taco Project also has spots in Bronxville, New Rochelle, Pleasantville, Yonkers, and one in Stamford, CT.

Since the name of this spot is The Taco Project, I had to order tacos, and I got the 'Birria Tacos.' They were beyond juicy, and the sauce between the tender meat and consommé. It was a chef's kiss.  Plus, the cheese that gets coated inside the taco shells was amazing!  If 'Birria Tacos' are ever on the menu at a taco place, you NEED to order them because they do not disappoint!

Looks great and tasted even better!

I also ordered the 'Steak Quesadillas,' which were divine. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the meat-to-cheese ratio was balanced well. That balance is important in quesadillas because sometimes you get mostly cheese, and a little of the meat or toppings, depending on how they are cut, but these were just right!

A strawberry soda does, in fact, hit the spot!

On top of that, I also got the 'Strawberry Jarritos,' which is strawberry soda. It was refreshing, tasty, and had lots of strawberry flavor. The soda was perfect, as it was not light but not heavy, and the carbonation was enough, it was not too much, which was great. Plus, that color was super vibrant!

These Churros...best I've ever had!!!!

To end my meal here, I had to get dessert, and I ordered the 'Churros,' which were homemade and came with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. I preferred the caramel sauce more than the chocolate one. These were by far the best churros I have EVER had, as the outside was nice, sweet, and cinnamon-based. However, the inside was where I was obsessed, as the dough tasted softer. I have not had that in a churro before, as typically, they are crunchy just like the outer shell. But this inside was soft, and tasted like you were eating a cloud, it was heavenly! Highly recommend ordering the churros for dessert when coming here!

At The Taco Project, you can order anything from tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, kids' meal boxes, salads, desserts, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and more. Delivery, pickup, and catering are all offered here. On top of that, you can order brunch here, and they have their own food truck that people can rent for parties and events. More information and inquiries are on their website. Also, on the website, customers can learn more about careers, press recognition, gift cards, gift card balance, and more. This taco place will leave everyone talking about how great it is, and how you want tacos!
