I had the chance to check out Pavlo Mochi in the East Village of Manhattan the other day, and I was very impressed by all the mochi and the variety of different mochi flavors. Let me tell you, there was a lot to choose from!
When I went, I got to choose three flavors, and the store chose three flavors for me to eat, so overall I got to try six different mochi flavors. This was the Lunar Limited Edition box, a special they are running for Lunar New Year. The presentation this came out in was really cool and unlike anything I have seen. I wish I had a picture to show, but it was too long to screenshot from a video.
The three that I chose were the 'Matcha Raspberry White Chocolate,' 'Dubai Chocolate,' and 'Tiramisu.' All three of these were excellent and tasted exactly how you would expect them to.
My favorite was probably either the 'Dubai Chocolate' one (as I love Dubai chocolate) or the 'Matcha Raspberry White Chocolate.' That was a brilliant combo, and I thought the matcha, raspberry, and white chocolate all complemented each other really well.
The three flavors that were chosen for me were the 'Black Sesame & Blueberry,' 'Matcha, Lotus, & Strawberry,' and 'Red Bean & Strawberry.'
Out of all these three, I liked the 'Black Sesame & Blueberry' the best, as I really enjoyed the Black Sesame flavor. The 'Red Bean & Strawberry' was also really good, and tasted great! The 'Matcha, Lotus, & Strawberry' was also terrific.
I also had an 'Americano Coffee' here as well, which was hot, good, and hit the spot.
