Diesel & Duke in Montclair recently invited me to try their juicy burgers and other mouthwatering menu items, and my experience was a success! This place has been known for having the original Smash Burger since 2014. If you love Smash burgers, then keep reading this post.
When I came, I ordered the Duke Smash Burger, their newest item. It’s a smash burger with super thin raw onions, American cheese, pickles, ketchup, and homemade aioli. I got this without the cheese because I do not like American cheese. Nonetheless, the burger was outstanding and packed with flavor from the meat, bun, onions, and sauces. This tasted like a true smash burger!
I also got the ‘Smokeshow Burger,’ which had bacon, aged cheddar, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. This burger was tasty and gave a ton of taste and flavor between the bacon, cheese, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. It was spectacular, and I also suggest getting this burger when coming or ordering from here.
On top of that, I also had the ‘Cajun Fries,’ which were super flavored and seasoned. If you love anything with Cajun or love seasonings, trust you will not be disappointed with these fries!
Now, you cannot go to a burger shop without ordering a milkshake! I got their ‘Vanilla Milkshake’, which was spectacular! It had a lot of vanilla flavor, was super creamy, and tasted very nostalgic. Nothing really beats a classic milkshake, and this place does not disappoint with theirs!

Yeah, that’s right, this place ships, so you do not need to live near a location to order from here. Speaking of locations, they have spots in Jersey City and Princeton, besides their Montclair one.
