Charred Brick Oven (Italian - Seaford, New York)

I found Charred Brick Oven on Instagram, and from just browsing their page, I was mesmerized by the food and how insanely delicious everything looked. I knew I had to go and see for myself how incredible this place is. So I drove out to Long Island and met up with a few friends who came along with me.

These 'Zucchini Chips' were a good light way to start off the meal

For appetizers, we got the 'Zucchini Chips' and the 'Charred Meatballs.' The 'Zucchini Chips' were crispy and cooked to breaded golden perfection, which also came with a Chipotle-like dipping sauce, which went perfectly with the chips. The 'Charred Meatballs' were amazing, the meat, breading, sauce, everything about them was great. These were by far the best meatballs I've ever had, and I honestly wanted more after finishing, lol.

Best meatballs I've ever had

For my meal, I ordered the 'Gnocchi Bomb,' which is the real reason why I wanted to come to Charred Brick Oven. I've never seen anything like it as it is a bread bowl filled with gnocchi that is smothered in vodka sauce and mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. I can't rave enough about how out-of-this-world the 'Gnocchi Bomb' is. This is maybe one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole life, I'm not kidding! I don't if there's anything that can top this after eating the bomb. It was creamy, cheesy, saucy, and honestly fresh, as the rest of the food was.

A bomb of flavor explosion over here

My friends ordered the 'Margherita' and 'Parma' pizza pies. I didn't try these as I was to full from my food but these looked good and I was almost tempted to get a pie had I not gotten the 'Gnocchi Bomb.' However, I'll probably come back down the road and will get a pie for myself. I don't think I need to explain the 'Margherita' pie as everyone probably knows what's in one. The 'Parma' pie has prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula and shaved Grana padano cheese.

Just look at how fresh and authentic this pizza is

The food and service here is amazing as there are plenty of options to choose from. I didn't get a chance to order any drinks or dessert, but they have a ton of unbelievable choices here that will leave your mouth watering. Charred Brick Oven also caters for parties and events, so make sure you give their menu a look if you're in the area and want catering. Overall, Charred Brick Oven is a top-tier restaurant that is flawless in all ways possible, go give it a try if you have not eaten here before because it is worth it!

The 'Parma' has a secret cheese pull

Rate: 10/10 (should really be anything over a 10)
