You cannot go wrong with a good sandwich as the options are endless, and they always end up being delicious. I recently came across another sandwich shop on Long Island in Williston Park called Brendo's King of Heroes, and this place is excellent. You know a place is good when you menu browse before going, and contemplate getting most of the menu items because everything looks amazing...well that was me with this place, lol.
For food, I got the 'The Beast,' which was a cheesesteak with ribeye, bacon, mozzarella, crispy onion straws, and gravy on toasted garlic bread. Everything about this sandwich was magnificent. It was beyond meaty, cheesy, and saucy. Plus, garlic bread always makes any meal better, and this was a really nice touch to the sandwich.
Besides cheesesteaks, there are a bunch of other sandwiches from chicken, roast beef, turkey, Italian meats, sausage and peppers as well as burgers, quesadillas, mac and cheese, wings, salads, wraps, and more. Catering, takeout, and delivery are offered here for all customers. This place is the real deal, and you have to pay Brendo's King of Heroes for a good, quality sandwich next time you are in the Williston Park area!
