Pizza and beer are an underrated duo that go hand-in-hand perfectly. Plank Pizza in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, is the perfect place that marries these two delicacies with a bunch of awesome assortments between both. Everything about this place is great from the vibes, food (pizza), and drinks (beer).
For food, I got 'The Frito Chili Pie,' which had Fritos, chili, cheese, diced onions, and sour cream. This pizza was absolute heaven, as all the flavors of everything were spectacular. My mouth is salivating right now thinking about the cheesy chili goodness mixed with the creamy sour cream and crunchy and salty fritos together. Chef's kiss. Plus, the dough is very fresh here and tastes perfect. This is a pie everything needs to try at least once when coming to Plank Pizza.
For drinks, I got a draft beer, which I forget the name of, but it was refreshing, and went great with my pizza. It was a medium draft that was not too light and not too dark, while also being somewhat sweet, but not too bitter. In my opinion, it was just right.
At Plank Pizza, customers can order anything from pizza, tacos, salads, soups, appetizers, desserts, beer (bottles, cans, drafts), wine, and more.
