If you are a Long Islander, then you probably know that the Guac Shop is a well-known food spot with multiple locations across the island. The Guac Shop has spots in Commack, Freeport, Garden City, Jericho, New Hyde Park, and Wantagh, and for my review, I went to their location in Wantagh.
At the Guac Shop, you can choose from quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and taco bowls. From there on, you get to choose your protein and toppings. When I went, I was in the mood for the quesadillas and tacos and got both, lol. For the quesadillas, I got mine with chicken with guac, sour cream, red onion, and chipotle mayo on the side. The quesadillas were delicious and tasted so good. Plus, all the sauces I got on the side went perfectly with them. The tacos come in threes, and I got mine with the soft shells, barbacoa, shredded cheese, Mexi corn, Mexi slaw (Mexican coleslaw), pineapple chili sauce, and sour cream. Plus, I also got queso on the side too. The tacos were fantastic and had a ton of flavor through the beef, cheese, corn, mexi slaw, and sauces. And they were filling for sure!
On top of their traditional menu, catering is also available here, and the menu is online on the website. Pickup and delivery are also offered here too. The Guac Shop also has private parties at their Jericho location, and more information is on the website. Also, on the website, customers can sign up for the loyalty and rewards programs, sign up for fundraisers, sign an organization, send in feedback, apply for a job, and more. If you are looking for some good Mexican food on Long Island, then you have to try the Guac Shop!
